I think we should definitely work by these categories, but hopefully create a text that can be fragmented to be more abstract, so the categories are not apparent in reading. Maybe we can start by drafting out the history and certain memories/anecdotes and build around that?

Portland Works: ideas for the txt

Hello... Was thinking of writing stuff under a few different (provisional) headings to get the process underway... I proper the following:

1. Official Documentation- this would be stuff like the listing and the fact it was he first place in the world to manufacture stainless steel

2. Stories/ tales- this could be z collection of anecdotes/ stuff people have told me

3. Atmosphere/ sounds

4. (modifications to/of) The Building- so the machinery, changes people have made, aditions, demolitions, the fire damage, repairs to help each other out etc

i know this is a bit scrappy at the moment and crude... but its really a sketch of what i might tyr to draw... please feed in and change it!
